.......
It's 7:00 P.M.

And I'm still at the office.

I've been here since 8:00 A.M.

And I've been done since like 5:00 P.M.

I'm waiting on Dad so we could go home.

....

WHY DO THEY HAVE SUCH A SMALL PARKING LOT THAT I CAN'T HAVE MY CAR SO I CAN LEAVE WHEN I'M DONE?? I DON'T GET PAID FOR THESE EXTRA HOURS LEAST NOT YET I SHOULD FORCE HIM TO BECAUSE JEEZ I BARELY GET TO DO ANYTHING DURING THE DAY ALREADY SINCE I FINISH EVERYTHING FAST AND THEY RUN OUT OF THINGS FOR ME TO DO B|

30 minutes? Okay, I can deal. But when it gets to an hour or two hours and still counting...well then we have a problem. It's all right you can work as long as you want, Dad, but don't drag me into it because I actually finish my work on time and you won't let me use my own damn car (and yes I've argued over this with him pretty much almost every day for the past two weeks since I've started here :|). lakdjflaskdjflkasjdflajsdf I want a nap dammit.

In lighter news, the nurses and staff threw him a surprise birthday party since it's tomorrow xD The cake his nurse made him was hysterical I swear. But it was damn good. And I don't mind doing the part time job here (dude, I wouldn't mind doing front desk clerk work at all so long as I didn't have to answer the phone. Unfortunately, answering the phone is part of front desk clerk work 8| God dammit.). It's only when Dad stays late at the office and everyone KNOWS he stays late at the office. He always has. Ugh.

/brb going downstairs to try and drag him out AGAIN.

AND IT'S FRIDAY. LET ME HAVE MY WEEKEND ALREADY I HAVE THINGS TO DO AT HOME TOO YOU KNOW EVEN IF THEY AREN'T THAT IMPORTANT BUT I CAN'T DO THEM HERE BECAUSE THIS IS NOT MY PC THIS IS MY LAPTOP ALSKDJFLASKDJFLASKJDF

I mean if I had to work? Fine. At least it's something to do. Even if I didn't get paid! It would be my job (and note: full-time job in that sense) and I'd be like "B| ...Fine." because I wouldn't mind as much.

I'm doing NOTHING in this case, and it's just a part-time. In fact it was almost volunteer work because I wasn't even sure if I was getting paid. And even then, I didn't know how much.

I had an eight 'til five job... only a half hour lunch break in this tiny room and on Saturdays, hm...

Then I couldn't get my hours back so I work another one with twice the hours but about the same pay TT.TT at least it's more interesting, but it's also more work.

But at least it's work and you're doing something. I'd rather have that honestly.

But I have to stand D: and stand, and stand, in this uncomfy but black shoes until I finally order the waitress ones. Carry lots of drinks without spilling them and deal with scary Korean men >.<;;;;

....Oh o_O You're a waitress?

.../tilts head. Somehow I never imagined you as one o-o No offense or anything like that, it's just not something I expected xD

Technically, I'm just the bus girl ^^; As I tell everyone when they look at me expectantly but I suppose it's a bit misleading since part of my job is to get people their drinks. *sigh* I don't like it when that happens =o=;;

I didn't expect it either but... I suppose it's not bad experience to have. I mean, it'd prepare me that much more for my future waitress jobs as I moonlight as a starving artist, ah yeah.

I basically do everything but handle orders/checks/register, all the waitress parts ^^;; If I could learn to do that, they would pay me more but... handling orders would mean memorizing the menu which is like... huge. There might be 100 plus things on it, no kidding.

Oooooooooooooooh I see :O Yeah I'd be afraid I'd screw up xD But you'd probably be able to get the hang of it.

What I'D be afraid is messing up on the TABLES xD Dude I'd fail and forget where which one is OTL

Oh, that's not so bad. Because I usually handle only one table's drinks at a time, and... I don't know, it's sort of a hard thing to forget for some reason, I guess since there are many ways to distinguish a table from another. The number of people, what they're wearing, what they look like, that sort of thing. When everyone orders something different, or if they get something alcoholic, then it could be hard to remember the individual drinks D: that's sort of sucky...

You know I hate the phone ;_; I freak out man! What if they ask me a question and I get all flustered and I don't know something and alksjfdslfj I DON'T WANT TO DO SOMETHING WRONG ;O;!!!

I can't even answer the phone at home or any unknown numbers on my cell >_>;;

And yeah, I know they'd train me and I could always cop out and be all "[insert company name here], this is Vanessa, can you hold please? *SMASH THAT HOLD BUTTON*" at least the office but...meeeerr @_@

When you don't know an answer, you put them on hold and you go and ask and then you come back and tell them said answer. it's not hard.

Well, the first day back like 2006 that I was put on phones, they spent the day training me and after you get the hang of it... it's really not that hard. I was all freaked out at first and kept telling Demetria and Randy I CANT DO THIS OMG I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO OGMOGMGOMGMGM but it was easy after the first day.
